The other day I was looking for the custom binding equivalent of a binary http binding with windows integrated security.

As everyone who had the pleasure of doing this knows, dealing with WCF configuration is not straight forward. There are so many options and little caveats you need to get right it quickly becomes something of jfgi problem.

Enter the wcf binding box application!

This is an invaluable little tool that will let you convert any existing binding to it’s custom binding equivalent!

With the release of .net 4.0 looming (12th of april) books are starting to appear.

Apparently, V.Next is coming out on the 12th of April 2010. Here’s hoping all performance issues will be solved.

Like most developers I tend to use only english versions of software (win 7, visual studio, office, etc). My clients however tend to use software in their native language. Now this shouldn’t be a problem, as we know how to develop localized applications.

Imagine my surprise however, when one of my clients can up with the following error message..

To make things worse, I couldn’t for the life of me reproduce this bug..

So, after some hours of hitting my head against the wall, it seems the error is basically a bug in the Dutch version of Vista SP 1.
